Letsema Logistics · Maun, Botswana

Part Time 5–8 years Mid level P1.1M - P1.4M / year Remote friendly

About the role

Join Letsema Logistics as a Procurement Manager in Maun and keep the operational machine running and getting better every week.

Job description

Letsema Logistics is hiring a Procurement Manager to join the team in Maun, Botswana. We're a growing organisation in our space and the next person in this seat will help us scale how we serve customers across the region.

You'll keep the engine running. That means owning the day-to-day operational systems that let the rest of the company do its job, and continually finding ways to make them faster, cheaper, and more reliable.

This role is part-time, around 20 hours per week. You'll partner closely with finance, customer support, suppliers, and senior leadership and report into the relevant team lead. We move fast, give people real ownership, and keep the bureaucracy low — if that sounds like the kind of environment you do your best work in, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Own the day-to-day operations of your function — process, tooling, vendor management, the lot.
  • Document SOPs and runbooks so the work survives anyone individual leaving.
  • Identify bottlenecks and ship operational improvements with measurable cycle-time impact.
  • Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including contract renewals and SLAs.
  • Run weekly reporting to the leadership team on operational health and risks.
  • Hire, onboard, and develop the team — both directly and through other team leads.

What you'll need

  • 5+ years in an operations role at a service or product business.
  • Demonstrated ability to design a process from scratch and roll it out across a team.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and comfort with light SQL.
  • Calm under pressure — you don't panic when something on-call breaks at 11pm.
  • Excellent written communication and stakeholder management across functions.

Perks & benefits

  • Clear progression framework reviewed every six months
  • Annual learning budget you can spend on courses, books, or conferences
  • Paid parental leave of 16 weeks for primary carers
  • Quarterly home-office and equipment top-up
  • Hybrid working — split your week between the office and home
