Contract 2–4 years Lead / Director P635k - P999k / year Remote friendly

About the role

Join Coinbase as a Director of Sales in Miami and help customers across the region buy what we sell — and stay around for the long haul.

Job description

Coinbase is hiring a Director of Sales to join the team in Miami, United States. We're a growing organisation in our space and the next person in this seat will help us scale how we serve customers across the region.

You'll own a pipeline of prospective customers from first touch through to closed-won. We sell consultatively — that means understanding the customer's actual problem before pitching the product.

This role is a fixed-term contract. You'll partner closely with marketing, customer success, and the rest of the revenue team and report into the relevant team lead. We move fast, give people real ownership, and keep the bureaucracy low — if that sounds like the kind of environment you do your best work in, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Source new opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound triage, and your own network.
  • Run discovery calls that surface real pain, not just feature wishlists.
  • Run polished product demos tailored to each prospect's use case, not a generic deck.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close deals against quarterly targets.
  • Hand each customer over to customer success cleanly with full context.
  • Keep the CRM accurate enough that leadership can forecast off it without re-asking you.

What you'll need

  • 1+ years in a quota-carrying B2B sales role.
  • Track record of consistently hitting or exceeding quarterly targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal English; you can lead a 60-minute call with executives.
  • Comfortable with a modern sales stack — CRM, email sequencing, call recording, and analytics.
  • Disciplined about pipeline hygiene; you know exactly what's in your funnel at any moment.

Perks & benefits

  • Clear progression framework reviewed every six months
  • Quarterly home-office and equipment top-up
  • Generous paid leave plus all public holidays observed in your country
  • Paid parental leave of 16 weeks for primary carers
  • Stock options or equity grants tied to company performance
